Recommended Regime – Cellulite
Cellulite is caused by the weakening of the structure of our support system underneath the dermis layer. Think of a criss cross network of collagen and fat and when the collagen hardens or the fat bulges it forms those little pockets that we like to call dimples. The only predetermining factor for cellulite is whether you are a woman and have a pear shape body (which means that you carry the largest fat deposits in your thighs) and are more prone to cellulite.
Step 1 - Cleanse
Cleanse according to your skin type.
Step 2 - Treatment - Cellulite
Apply treatment to the area of concern, buttock, stomach, arms, and thighs. Follow instructions – that is, some products require massaging while others work without massaging. Look for products that increase blood circulation and beak down fat.
TIP: Look for products that contain collagen stimulating ingredients as they will thicken the outer layer of the skin and cover/diminish the appearance of dimples.
Step 3 - Moisturize/Hydrate
The skin on the body is less affected by environmental stimuli and may not be the same skin type as your face. Look for a moisturizer for all over the body and a thicker cream for the problem areas – that is, knees, elbows, and heels.
Step 4 - Sunscreen
Use a minimum SPF 15 or greater with a broad spectrum UVA/UVB formulation. Apply sunscreen only if your body is or will be exposed.
