Kevin Murphy's newest obsession is the women of India. Sindoor is a traditional red or orange colour that is worn by married women along the hair part. Kevin, so inspired, has created a commitment-free hair colour ~ COLOR.BUG paying homage to the Sindoor.
"It's makeup for the hair" says Kevin Murphy. Dramatic hues of orange, pink and purple give the hair one-time colour without the commitment. And since there is no commitment you can apply subtle streaks or highlights, to more intense one or two tone colour applications.
Our Tips:
1. For darker hair. To get intense colour on darker hair apply a light hair spray or cream or paste to the area where you want to apply colour. Rub COLOR.BUG on the damp area and shake out any excess colour powder. Wait until the area is dry to put on clothing or put clothing on first then apply COLOR.BUG.
2. For lighter hair. As blonde hair is more porous, colour grabs on and holds longer on lighter hair so it may take a few more washes to get it out of the hair. Avoid using COLOR.BUG if you have to go into the office the very next day.
