The directive from Lucian Matis to the team at Schwarzkopf Professional, for hair, was simple and sleek. So the team created a "ponytail with intention", a termed coined by Paul Pereira while speaking to Beauty Connexion. And the intention was achieved, simple, sleek and sexy! "Ponytails are sexy. They emphasize a woman's features as the hair is pulled back off the face. It also gives you a little lift" Paul goes on to say. We agree!



Recreate the look of the "Ponytail with Intention"

Step 1
Always work with blow dried straight hair. This will give you the end result of a sleek ponytail. Paul used OSIS Soft N?Straight Smooth Straightening Emulsion and BC Oil Miracle Finishing Treatment when blow drying the hair to achieve the sleek straight style.


Step 2
Pull hair back to the crown of the head. This gives the ponytail a sophisticated look. Paul's Tip: wrap a piece of your hair around the ponytail for an added professional look.


Step 3
Finish with Schwarzkopf Professional Glamour Queen Hairspray. Paul's Tip: if a piece of hair is out of place, take the back of a fine-tooth comb or pencil and "comb" from the front of the head to the back. This will remove any hair kink.

Step 4
Put on a smokin' hot outfit and sultry makeup, grab your guy or gal and head out for the evening.
