Jason Wu and OPI

OPI teamed up with Jason Wu for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. Jason named OPI the official nail care sponsor for his runway show for the spring 2012. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-founder, worked closely with Wu, finding inspiration in Wu?s color scheme and seasonal trends. The nail colour chosen? Only the it colour for nails and lips for this current season and for Spring.








The orange neutral provided a strong complement to Wu's 2012 spring looks. It was used as a contrast colour against the coral, pink, electric blue and acid green pieces of the line and popped when placed with the creams, blacks and grays of the line. Nail colour trend for spring, bright bold and neutral!

Jason Wu made headlines when he was chosen as the designer of the first lady's, Michelle Obama, inaugural ball gown. Since then he continues to focus on ladylike fashions with this collection inspired by the 1950's femme fatale.
