Must Haves: August Long Weekend

It seems like yesterday we were enjoying a long weekend and as quickly as we gathered our must have items for the next long weekend it is already upon us. This may not be the most glamorous of long weekends; May Long Weekend has the dubious honour of being the first long weekend, July is usually a hot and sticky long weekend and August well, although the name is not the most glamorous ( Civic Holiday ) it's still a long weekend and we are going to make it a glam one!

Our guide and must haves to making this a glam long weekend? Relish in the quietness of the city when everyone else is out of town, lounge in the backyard with palm trees ( pic up a few palm trees at your local garden or home store ), mix a little gold or yellow with all your outfits and nails, and lastly grab a cocktail, invite a few friends over and enjoy!
