Can I Wear Jewellery With My Bathing Suit?
There are so many different styles of jewellery trending right now no matter what your style. From sea-inspired pieces like cocktail style shell rings and dainty starfish earrings to geometric bangles and necklaces, even bracelets with dangling vegetables! Yes, you read that right, vegetables! Any of these styles would be perfect to pair with a bathing suit. There are just a few things to keep in mind.
Wearing jewellery with your bathing suit:
1. Start off by selecting jewellery that is fairly low maintenance. You don’t want any rough pieces that might catch and pull on the delicate fabric of your bathing suit.
2. Choose jewellery that will complement the look of your suit. If you are wearing a simple solid colour choose jewelry that will stand out i.e. gold against black; oversized gold hoops with a strapless or multi-layered gold necklaces with a V-neck style suit.
3. For water friendly jewellery opt for plastic. Bright coloured beads will give a pop to your suit. Stack or layer beaded necklaces or bracelets without the worry of them getting water logged.
4. Bring out your inner mermaid – shells, pearls and iridescent pieces will give you a romantic and beachy look.

To pick the right piece, that will work for you, just think about how your piece will be used - that is, are you lounging or will you be active at the beach.
