TARGETS PARTNERS WITH MONTREAL FASHION WEEK
August 30, 2012

Just around the corner is the first of the Canadian Fashion Weeks.  Montreal starts of Spring 2013 fashion weeks with a new announcement - a partnership with Target. Mitsou Gelinas is joining Target from September 4-7 at l'Arsenal as their Fashion Ambassador.

“Just like Montréal, Target is all about style and design. Partnering with Montréal Fashion Week and having Mitsou Gélinas as our Fashion Ambassador for the occasion is our way of introducing the Target brand to our Québec guests,” stated John Morioka, Senior Vice-President, Merchandising, Target Canada. “True to our brand promise of Expect More. Pay Less., Target is committed to making affordable design accessible to all of our Canadian guests when we begin opening our doors in 2013.”

Known for tapping iconic designers for its collection Target says it will tailor it's approach for the province. Fashion-savvy Quebeckers can follow Target’s new online communities: @TARGET_FR and @TARGET_CA or Facebook.com/TargetCanada (bilingual) to interact directly with the retailer and experience Montréal Fashion Week through the eyes of Mitsou.

There is no mention that Target will be showing at the runway, we will just have to wait for more news. At this time Target says it will have a strong presence.

More to come.
