Can I still wear my aviator sunglasses?
The aviator (originally created by Ray-Ban) is a retro and classic sunglass style that emerged in the mid- 30’s and is still one of the trendiest styles today and for this season, for both men and women. Other retro styles that are big for 2012 are the “cat eye” and the “bug-eye,” albeit, not the most flattering name, but they can be very flattering on the right shape face.
Another very popular frame is the Wayfarer (also originally created by Ray-Ban). This type of frame suits all age groups and works for the guys and girls. The Wayfarer was big in the 80’s and has made a big comeback in the past couple of years.
The oversized sunglasses are still one of the most worn frames as they are always donned by the celebs trying to hide from the paparazzi. While most of us aren’t hiding from anyone, this style evokes our inner-glam (and sometimes our inner-celeb).

DO:
Choose a larger frame to cover your entire eye so you don't squint.
Almost all sunglasses protect against UVA and UVB. Make sure there is a sticker that says so on the sunglassses themselves.
With so many styles to choose from it can be very frustrating picking the right ones for you, so it is important to consider the shape of your face, your style of clothing and what kind of look and message you are going for when you are choosing your sunglasses.
Try a polarized lens which reduces glare and offers a clearer and squint-free sunglass experience.
