VERSUS BACKSTAGE RUNWAY HAIR FALL WINTER 2012/2013

A very sleek and 70s look for hair at the Versus Fall/Winter 2012/2013 runway show. The Redken team and Guido Redken Creative Consultant worked overtime at Milan Fashion Week.
“It’s a very severe, pulled back look. I used hair extensions to make the hair very long so it has a bit of a seventies feel to it but added various shine products to make it look very tough. It feels like the younger sister of the girl we saw on the runway the other night at Versace. It has all the same energy and power of Versace but it’s a little more rock and roll, a little sexier, a little cooler.” –Guido, Redken Creative Consultant
Redken Products:
 hardwear 16 super-strength gel
shine flash 02 glistening mist
align 12 protective straightening lotion
Create the Look:
1. Blow-dry damp hair straight using align 12 lotion.
2. Apply hardwear 16 gel to the top “u-shaped” section of the hair and brush back away from the face; secure with a black clip just above the crown.
3. Blow-dry crown after adding clip to set the style.
4. Flat iron all hair until pin-straight, and finish with shine flash 02.
