RALPH LAUREN BACKSTAGE HAIR FALL WINTER 2012/2013

Downton Abbey has not only been winning awards but is the inspiration for the fall 2012 collection by Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren took on a modern twist of the idyllic yet bustling 1912 Edwardian country theme. Redken Creative Consultant Guido styled ponytails for the Fall 2012 shows of the fashion powerhouse. The Ralph Lauren pony was soft, feminine, and refined; very simple, very classic.

Fashion work 12 versatile working spray
Create the Look:

Apply thickening lotion 06 to damp hair for extra body.

Blow dry hair using a large round brush.

Put hair up in pincurls which will give a rich finish to the final look.

Release pincurls and apply All Soft Argan-6 oil for shine and to smooth any frizz.

Brush hair back lightly with fingers to create a perfect low ponytail, a very rich look, securing it with an elastic.

Take a small piece of hair and wrap around elastic to cover.

Finish with fashion work 12 hairspray to tame any flyaway’s.
