MASCARA NOIR G de GUERLAIN
January 3, 2012
"It's not a matter of young or old, it's about style. Parisian women love to be unique and very individualistic" Olivier Échaudemaison, Creative Director Guerlain tells beauty connexion. Under his 10 years at Guerlain, Olivier Échaudemaison has been instrumental in creating many of Guerlain's most popular products like KissKiss, Rouge G, and Terracotta (Light, 4 Seasons and Khol) for Paris' women. His latest creation is already on Saks Fifth Avenue's high demand list meaning a customer cannot order more than 6 ever 30 days! Imagine buying 6 mascaras every month! The new Mascara Noir G de Guerlain is shaping up to be the most coveted mascara. Part functional and part extravagant it delivers on its promise and more.
The extravagance - the little black bullet. For those familiar with Guerlain you know the bullet. Launched with the Rouge G lipstick this case with mirror is both functional and a piece to be held and admired. In the Noir G version the mirror begs you to bring it up so close to your eyes so you can reach every last little lash, much closer than you could get with your bathroom mirror.
The function? A formula that is touted as complete in that it creates volume, length, curve and care. It's been through the beauty connexion test kitchen with flying colours. The long lasting formula doesn't smudge, clump or flak, it does this through a polymer film that sets the formula on the lashes. Noir G also cares for your lashes with Artemia Salina extract to create dense lashes - you may not think that carrying for your lashes is important but just think of them as hair - if the hair is split the mascara will not sit well on them.
And the piece de resistance? Guerlain's colour innovation with Vitrified Black Carbon pigments with more black and more brilliance coated in a glass ball. The magnifying glass effect multiplies the intensity and the depth of the black for lashes that are out to there without looking fake and overly mascara-d.
Mascara Noir G de Guerlain is available at Holt Renfrew until January 2012 where it will be available at Guerlain counters across the country.
