Make Hors d'oeuvres Like a Gourmand
 


Simple!

We've got "looking like a gourmand without all the work" down pat for you.  With all the parties and get togethers who has the time to cook?  This no-fuss combination from President's Choice Black Label line helps you look like a gourmandista!

Pick up from any Loblaws on the way home:

Bottom: Baguette - we are partial to ACE but any will do
Middle: Cheese - try the 8 Year Old Canadian Cheddar
Top: Sweet - try Quebec Wild Blueberry Spread; Salty - try Bacon Marmalade

To look like a gourmandista make your own crostini for the bottom:

Preparations:
1. Cut baguette diagonally about ¼ inch thickness
2. Brush each side of the baguette with olive oil, salt and pepper
3. Place in the oven until golden brown (400 degrees)
 
Arrange on serving plates/bowls and you are set - make sure to take everything out of the packaging.


Super simple and super tasty; for some extra flare decorate the plate with fruit that is currently in season like pomegranates; figs, pears, etc.
