SKIN CARE ROUTINE FOR OILY SKIN

Those with oily skin rejoice there are claims that this type of skin ages slower than any other! Oily skin can be hereditary or a hormone imbalance (think puberty or menopause). This type of skin looks shiny and dull. Follow this routine for oily skin & minimize the look of dull skin and reduce the oil.

Step 1 - Cleanse

Use a gel or oil cleanser, morning and night. This is the most important step in removing bacteria that cause blemishes.

TIP: If your skin is left taught then your cleanser is too harsh/drying and your skin will secrete more oil to compensate.

Step 2 - Treatment

See sections on Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Under Eye Puffiness/Bags, etc. under Specific Concern.

Step 3 - Hydrate

Use a lightweight lotion or cream, morning and night. Look for non-comeodogenic formulation.

Step 4 - Sunscreen

Use a minimum SPF 15 or greater with for a broad spectrum UVA/UVB formulation.

Weekly Skin Care Routine

Once or twice a week use a clay based mask to remove oil and dirt and bring back the colour in the skin.
