DULL OR LACKLUSTER SKIN

Any skin type can look dull and lackluster. Most common symptoms are a loss of colour to the skin and flakiness. To banish dull skin; exfoliate, eat fruits and vegetables, moisturize/hydrate, and follow this routine.

TIP: for added brightness use blush and bronzer all year round.

Daily Routine - Step 1 - Cleanse

Cleanse as recommended in the section for your skin type: Oily or Dry or Combination. Ensure there is an added natural exfoliator or a synthetic bead in the lotion to give you extra polishing.

Daily Routine - Step 2 - Treatment - Dull/Lackluster

Look for a product that contains a lightening or whitening ingredient (see list below).

Daily Routine - Step 3 - Moisturize/Hydrate

Moisturize/hydrate as recommended in the section for your skin type.

Daily Routine - Step 4 - Sunscreen

Use a minimum SPF 15 or greater with a broad spectrum UVA/UVB formulation. Look for natural Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide.

Daily Routine Step 5 - Colour

Use a blush and bronzer to add colour to your cheeks and bring back brightness to the skin. Look for products that contain light reflecting properties.

Weekly Routine

Oily skin will require a mask to bring back brightness.

Dry skin will require a physical exfoliator - use a synthetic or round jojoba bead which are smooth and perfectly round so as not to scratch the skin.

TIP: Never use a scrub on oily skin as it will spread the bacteria all over your face.
